WHAT WE DO

Infrastructure Feasibility & Development
Properly, and fully, understanding all necessary aspects of the feasibility of a project or operation is essential to its success.
20Twenty does more than simply advise in this area, but will also lead and guide clients to ensure clients fully appreciate the time, cost and risk aspects, and how these elements interact with one another.
Further, 20Twenty ensures that the commercial, technical and operational aspects are also integrated and balanced, so as to ensure costs and risks are optimised and clients are not exposed to unexpected surprises.

Strategic Management
& Advisory
Many infrastructure related challenges are quite complex in nature, and can have a considerable number of moving parts and inter-dependencies.
As such, it is often difficult to develop the best infrastructure solution in the absence of a clear and concise strategy that is agreed and understood.
The 20Twenty team have a demonstrated track record of assisting clients, at both executive and management levels, develop appropriately tailored strategies that are then used to guide the process of securing the best infrastructure outcome for each client.

Supply Chain Design,
Integration & Operations
Whilst discrete infrastructure solutions are required for individual supply chain components, e.g. rail / port infrastructure or operations, it is essential for these components to be integrated as part of a wider supply chain as they will impact and influence one another in terms of cost, timing and risk.
To the extent that these components are not appropriately integrated or accounted for, the project proponent will always bare the cost and loss arising from any inconsistencies, or misaligned components.
20Twenty has an extensive working knowledge of how these components interact and how they need to be structures and aligned in order to get the best outcome for clients.

Interface &
Risk Management
Often overlooked is the importance of identifying and managing the complex interfaces that exist when considering infrastructure, and related services, and the risks that arise if these complex interfaces are not appropriately addressed.
By way of example, a simple rail connection can consist of over 15 interfaces to manage, between design, ownership, construction, accreditation, operations and maintenance. Part of this process is however of course identifying and managing the risks within each of the above areas as well.
20Twenty has significant experience in managing such interfaces and risks for clients, with this capability being one of 20Twenty’s key strengths.

Stakeholder
Management
External stakeholders play a critical role in the success of establishing infrastructure, and supporting ongoing operations.
Given the inability to control external stakeholders it is essential for stakeholders, and their interests, are appropriately identified, profiled and managed.
The ability to influence and manage external stakeholder is another one of 20Twenty’s key strengths.

Independent
Expert
In light of our extensive experience the 20Twenty team is well respected in relation to infrastructure matters.
This experience and reputation has led to being accountable to various court, and alternate dispute resolution, processes relating to providing numerous independent expert testimonies relating to such matters as, but not limited to; costs, pricing, capacity, and third party access.
In undertaking these crucial roles 20Twenty draws upon its ability to authoritatively explain complex infrastructure considerations in simple and understandable terms, tailored to the task.
